Ayushmann Khurrana Makes A Generous Donation To Ailing Actress Savita Bajaj; Sonu Sood Provides Her With Oxygen Concentrator
When it comes to helping needy people during COVID-19 or helping them financially, actors always make generous donations that win everyone’s hearts. Speaking of which, the latest report suggests that actor Ayushmann Khurrana has come out to support ailing actor Savita Bajaj - who has worked with Anil Kapoor and Govinda in the past. Bajaj is suffering from emphysema -- a condition that is affecting the lungs and needs oxygen support. After Khurrana got to know about her condition, he transferred a huge amount into her account for her medical expenses.

The news was confirmed by Nupur Alankar, care committee member of CINTAA (Cine & TV Artists Association) who has been taking care of Savita for a long time. She told ETimes, “Actress Rajeshwari Sachdeva had posted on her Instagram about Savitaji, Ayushmaan called her and transferred the money which was a huge relief for us, as we were able to discharge her from the hospital.” As per the report, CINTAA had earlier given medical assistance of Rs 50,000/- and monthly expense of Rs 5000/- for her expenses/medicines from the past few years.

Furthermore, Jackie Shroff is also said to have made a decent donation to Savita while Sonu Sood who is been hailed for his philanthropic work donated her an oxygen concentrator. Nupur added, “Sonu Sood has donated an oxygen concentrator which will also be of use to her.”

Savita Bajaj, who is recovering now, said, “I am feeling better. Nupur has been like a Godsend to me. She assured me that she would be by my side throughout and kept her word. She visited me at the hospital daily. Nupur and her sister, Jigyaasa, have brought me to their home. It seems like a miracle. Mujhe lagta hai mujhe nayi zindagi mil gayi.”
